Pretium recognized the growing demand for PET two-stage containers from small-to medium-sized companies for the specialty food and beverage industry. Many suppliers are not willing to provide smaller stock quantities to brand owners to meet this demand.
Pretium invested $2 million dollar in new reheat stretch polyethylene terephthalate (PET) blow molding equipment and infrastructure for its Troy, Alabama manufacturing plant. The equipment is capable of producing both hot- and cold-fill PET containers to support the growing demand from the condiment, sauce and dressing market, as well as increased supply requirements from the beverage category, including ready-to-drink teas, energy drinks, coffee, etc.
A full-service hot - and cold-fill solution for the specialty food and beverage industry in the Southeast. This includes the availability to produce bottles with different neck size options from 24mm to 45mm, bottle sizes from 6oz to 2L and temperatures up to 185 degrees. This investment supports Pretium's strategic plan to offer flexible solutions that support demand fluctuations and speed-to-market needs.
