Acquisition Interests

Pretium is looking to acquire packaging companies.

You’ve worked hard your entire career to build your business. Along the way, you’ve probably had some nagging thoughts about what would happen to your employees, your products and even your legacy, if you no longer owned the company. If any of that resonates, we hope you might be open to having a conversation about selling your business.

We are guessing that this is probably not the first time that someone has asked you to consider selling. But here’s why this time is different. When many acquisitions take place, the new owners terminate employees, shut down manufacturing facilities and take other actions that make what the previous owner created, unrecognizable. What happens is exactly what you don’t want to happen.

Pretium, on the other hand, has a long track record of doing something different. We call it the Pretium Operating Way. In short, we don’t like to chop up companies we purchase. We want to leverage the company’s existing culture and legacy, by respecting and preserving autonomy. That’s how we’ve grown to 17 manufacturing locations, with hundreds of bottle production lines across North American and annual sales in excess of $300 million.

There’s a lot more we would like to share with you about our plastic bottle blow molding growth and how many of our current team members, including executives, joined us as part of a prior acquisition. And even if you are not ready to sell your business at the moment, it might still be beneficial to have a conversation. Nothing more. No commitments, no expectations.
